What to Expect

We know new experiences can be nerve-wracking. We want your first experience at CalChurch to be comfortable, so we’ve put together answers to some commonly asked questions. If you have others, please reach out.
(We promise no question is a bad question. Even that one.)

Where do I park?

Park anywhere in our parking lot! Anything close!

What do I wear?

Clothes. We honestly don’t care what kind. (Most of us dress casually, including our jeans-and-converse-wearing pastor, if that helps.)

Where do I take my kids?

When you arrive, you’ll see signs pointing to our brightly colored, clean, safe upstairs CalChurch Kid’s area. If you need an elevator, our super-friendly volunteers are happy to help guide you, too!

What’s a church service like?

When you arrive at CalChurch, you’re welcome to enjoy free coffee and treats in our lobby and then find a comfy seat in the auditorium. Before the church service begins, we play some music and display information about upcoming events on the video screens. The service itself starts with a time of music and then Pastor Brad teaches for about half an hour—about topics you can apply to your actual life in the real world. We also take an offering, but there is no pressure to give as our guest.

What can I do to get involved?

After your first visit, we’d love to help you get plugged in! This a place to discover faith, grow in faith, and build community. We have groups and serving opportunities all the time. Let us know at our Central Hub on Sundays or through a Welcome Card.

How do I find out more about CalChurch?

You can always ask someone on our staff team or a member of our community, but the best way is to attend a welcome coffee! We answer more question about CalChurch and ways to get involved.
